On parle souvent de Criterion et de ses sorties de titres prestigieux, mais on oublie généralement de parler de son homologue anglais. En effet, Eureka Entertainment est un éditeur venant d’outre-Manche, qui multiplie les titres intéressants et rares dans des qualités plus que satisfaisantes, et ce au sein de leur prestigieuse collection Masters of Cinema ou non.

Il y a quelques semaines, nous vous parions de deux titres prévus sans date dans la collection précédemment liée : The World de Jia Zhangke et La Harpe de Birmanie de Kon Ichikawa. Nous savons désormais qu’ils sortiront le 23 août prochain en Blu-ray.

Or, à la même date est annoncé Ali Baba et les quarante voleurs de Arthur Lubin (1944). Il y a des chances que la qualité de l’image soit au rendez-vous, comme c’est souvent le cas chez Eureka Entertainment. ce disque sortira hors collection, contrairement aux deux précédents.
